Announcement of this year’s vacancies
There are opportunities in 2015 for members to put themselves forward for a number of vacancies on our Board and Committees – and the help of our existing volunteer network is sought to communicate this information and help to encourage member interest in standing.
There will be two elected vacancies on the Board of Trustees. The closing date for Board nominations is Wednesday 20 May 2015, with the contested election taking place during August and September. The successful candidates will serve a three year term on the Board and will also be appointed, during that time period, to chair one of our Board Committees.
We are keen to ensure diversity within our candidate lists for the Board and Committees, to reflect our own membership profile, as well as the protected characteristics published by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission.
We will have vacancies on our Advisory Committees. If you know of anyone who would have an interest in serving on one of the advisory Committee, please contact email@example.com. Further information on these vacancies will be available in the next edition of the Digest.

The first stage in the process is for members to express an interest in standing and provide a copy of their CV. There will then be follow up contact to consider the experience and expertise that candidates would.
