Professional Manager magazine clinches top award

The Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) Professional Manager magazine has claimed a top industry award.  

CMI’s membership title won the Magazine – Professional Association or Royal College category in the MemCom Membership Marketing Awards 2015. Judges singled out Professional Manager for its practical content, noting that: “70% of its readership has tackled a management issue differently after reading the magazine.” 

As CMI’s magazine, Professional Manager is produced for the professional body’s membership and claims a readership of 62,000. The title was relaunched by independent content marketing agency Think in 2009. 

CMI’s weekly Insights ebulletin was ‘Highly Commended’ by judges in the award’s Newsletter category.

Now in its tenth year, the Membership Marketing Awards is hosted by the Membership Communications organisation. This year the awards ceremony was held at the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in London.

Professional Manager is produced for CMI by Think.

Collecting the award, Think’s group account director Jackie Scully said:
