As an Awarding Body, we offer a range of professional management qualifications from Levels 2 – 8 through our network of Approved Centres. These Centres are quality assured by a team of enthusiastic, professional and occupational competent External Verifiers (EVs).
However, the role of an EV is not just about maintaining standards. An EV should also provide guidance and support to existing and potential Centre staff at all levels of seniority and be on the lookout for opportunities to encourage Centres to introduce new qualifications from CMI or to reach out into new markets with existing qualifications. An EV should act as an ambassador for CMI promoting good practice and professional management principles.
As a CMI representative, it is essential an EV has:
- a distinguished career in management supported by appropriate professional / academic qualifications to at least the level of our Level 7 Diploma in Management; and
- the flexibility to devote at least 16 days per year to the task, which includes 3-5 days per year for EV development.
