Reap the rewards of professionalising your management by offering your staff access to a world-class business education, work-based learning and development through to Chartered Manager status.

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship provides on-the-job education for non-graduate managers and school leavers alike to gain a management degree and professional accreditation. The Apprenticeship is also ideal for school leavers, enabling you to cultivate your management talent of tomorrow.

Designed by employers, for employers

Developed by a group of 20 businesses led by Serco, the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship produces managers with the management skills and qualities required by employers of all sizes and from all sectors. The programme is tailored to the needs of the working day, balancing education and business demands.

Educational excellence and professionalism as standard

Management apprentices follow a programme developed with the Small Business Charter, part of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, ensuring they earn degrees from renowned universities and business schools. Apprentices become affiliate members of the Chartered Management Institute, and will reach Chartered Manager status by the end of their apprenticeship.

Financial incentives to train apprentices

From April 2017, employers with pay bills over £3 million will have to pay an apprenticeship levy of 0.5% of that pay bill, which they can then claim back in the form of vouchers towards apprenticeship programmes.
