EBRD Outreach Seminar - Working for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Consultancy Opportunities.

The IC L&SE Network and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are pleased to invite consultants to a seminar focussing on EBRD consultancy opportunities.

In 2013, the EBRD and its clients awarded more than 2,800 consultancy contracts with a total value of more than €170 million in all fields related to consultancy advice and technical cooperation necessary to prepare and implement EBRD investments and foster transition in its countries of operation (banking and financial institutions, support to SMEs, environment, power & energy, energy efficiency, municipal environment and infrastructure, transport, management, public sector reform, economic research, legal transition, etc.).

Speakers from the EBRD will provide guidance and lessons learned on the HOW, DOs and DON’Ts of obtaining consultancy contracts with EBRD and its clients in the EBRD countries of operation. Participants will hear about strategies for winning contracts and the main differences between the EBRD’s Procurement Policies and Rules (PP&R) compared to other donors or international financial institutions.

There will be ample opportunity for networking and participants are invited to request one-to-one meetings to discuss specific issues, opportunities and assignments with the EBRD speakers after the seminar.

Agenda:

 17:00  Registration & welcome - coffee
18:00  Presentation - EBRD Project Procurement, Policies & Rules, Q&A
