This is part one of our ‘whatever happened to the working day’ series of events.
Gone are the days of a nine to five office environment with daily face to face contact between managers and their teams. Managers may need to manage people across the globe, rarely meeting staff other than on virtual platforms. How do managers create a feeling of 'team' in this new virtual reality? How do they structure their days around time zone availability rather than office hours or family commitments? How can we as managers cope with this?
