A presentation by Simon Martin about how the Council plans to manage flood risk in the North Quays - Green Park area of Bath.

The challenging objective is to achieve an environmentally sustainable, low carbon, climate friendly and resilient future. The proposed Local Development Framework for Bath and North East Somerset proposes several new developments along the River Avon corridor. These developments must satisfy National Planning Policy Framework without having a negative impact on flood risk to third parties and whilst also retaining access during flood conditions. Flood mitigation measures are required to achieve this objective. Following an extensive period of study Simon will speak about the Councils proposals for the river in and around the Green Park - North Quays area of Bath.
