This is a workshop organised by the Institute of Consulting London & SE Network for experienced consultants, advisers and business development managers looking for powerful thinking and facilitation methodologies that they can apply to help their clients resolve critical business matters.
The session will give participants a view of the range of approaches available to tackle strategy and business development issues. In addition participants will gain valuable insights into how to apply the business development approaches to grow their own businesses.

Graham Kennedy is a senior strategy and transformation professional who helps large organisations work out what to do with digital and information technologies. He developed his expertise while working with Accenture and A.T. Kearney.
He transforms the value that organisations derive from their investment in and expenditure on digital and information technologies. He help organisations deliver valuable business outcomes and benefits from this expenditure predictably, quickly and at lower cost. For example, as a result of one engagement, the Department for Work and Pensions reduced its annual expenditure on IT by 25%, or £200m per year, while improving the quality of IT services that were delivered. On another engagement he delivered the desired outcomes from a £165m investment in IT for a financial services client on time and £35m under budget.
Graham works with his clients to assess their significant digital and information related problems or opportunities and then conceives solutions to address these problems or opportunities. He then typically persuades his clients to introduce these solutions and helps them deliver the expected outcomes or benefits from investing in the solutions. He is an accomplished facilitator, and chair of the Institute of Consulting London & SE Network.
Peter Franklin is both a strategy and business development consultant with a focus on the energy and utilities market places, as well as an experienced trainer in consulting methodologies. Peter held a variety of senior positions in the energy industry both in the UK and Europe prior to becoming a consultant at the turn of the millennium. Peter works with both clients and consultants to enable them to achieve a shared vision of the way forward and a compelling proposition to take stakeholders with them using the approaches covered in this workshop.
