This event is a great professional development opportunity to really reflect on what leadership means to you and your business or organisation.  Just how essential is good leadership to business or organisational success and sustainability?  You will also be able to take some practical ideas away to implement your own business or organisation.

This is a CPD event about leadership on behalf of the Leading Wales Awards and is part of our call to action to encourage participation in the 2015 Leading Wales Awards.

Facilitated by Barbara Chidgey, Executive Chair of the Leading Wales Awards, its aims are to:

  • Raise understanding about the leadership challenges facing an SME outlined by James Robinson (MD of Hello Starling who are sponsors of the Leadership in the Private Sector category)
  • Kevin Morgan (Kevin Morgan, Regional Director, NatWest Business Banking) will share with attendees some of the leadership challenges and opportunities working within a large business in the financial sector.
  • We will then open this up to a Q & A session from the floor.
  • The event will conclude with guidance to support the call to action for nominations of individuals whose leadership is making a real difference in Wales for the 2015 Leading Wales Awards (nominations open from 16th Jan to 13th March 2015 www.leadingwalesawards.co.uk )

Hilton Cardiff is a Consortium Member of the Leading Wales Awards.
