The next webinar in our series will look at “ Leadership styles that suit Women” and will be delivered by Kate Brookes.
 
Kate Brookes is currently a self employed Corporate and Executive and Life coach, NLP Practitioner, and Leadership Trainer. (www.kbcd.co.uk.) She has been training, coaching and mentoring for many years, enabling others to develop their skills, especially in self-confidence, minority progression, and leadership.
 
She has been a police trainer since 1989, training all levels of staff and police officers from new recruits to senior leaders and retired from the police, after 30 years service, in 2012. Within the police she has extensive experience in job evaluation, recruitment and promotion assessment methods.
 
Kate also had a wide range of experience in change and project management, leading local, regional and national change projects within the Criminal Justice.

Kate will look at the various leadership styles and techniques and give her view on what works best for women managers.

Kate Brookes, Coaching & Development

Kate Brookes has been training, coaching and mentoring for many years, enabling others to develop their skills, especially in self-confidence, minority progression, and leadership. She is a protégé student with The Coaching Academy, completing qualifications in Personal Performance Coaching (distinction), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and Corporate and Executive Coaching. She will continue to broaden her coaching skills with diplomas in Youth, Family and Small Business Coaching.

She has been a police trainer since 1989, training all levels of staff and police officers from new recruits to senior leaders. Within the police she has extensive experience in job evaluation, recruitment and promotion assessment methods. As a recruitment, promotion and job evaluation assessor, she has been actively involved in assessment centres and other assessment processes since 1991.

Kate also had a wide range of experience in Change and Project Management, leading local, regional and national change projects within the Criminal Justice System and with other strategic partners of the police.
