This year’s keynote speaker is Truus Huisman, Acting Vice-President Global Sustainability Strategy and External Advocacy at Unilever. This year’s lecture will draw on Truus’ extensive experience of handling global corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement for one of world’s largest and best know consumer goods companies.
Truus Huisman - Acting Vice-President, Global Sustainability Strategy & external Advocacy
Truus Huisman has over 20 years experience in Communications with a specialisation in Public Affairs and Issues Management. Before joining the Unilever Head Office in London, she was responsible for Unilever’s EU Affairs office in Brussels. Her experience outside Unilever includes 6 years as Secretary General of a European trade association in the field of tourism and 2 years in consultancy where she worked for a number of blue chip companies such as Coca-Cola and Rio Tinto.
