Are you in a leadership role or looking to step up into one? Do you want to become a more effective leader?
This successful Leadership training programme, organised by the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce's Business Women's Sector, is designed to further develop the skills of the women business leaders of today and tomorrow. This is a unique opportunity giving you real guidance and practical steps to strengthen your leadership, as well as showing you how to apply these insights to developing other people.
The programme has been designed over three sessions, which can be attended as a series or in isolation.
This is the first workshop in the series: Working Effectively with Others
Working effectively as part of a group internally in your organisation or externally with customers or suppliers, this workshop will demonstrate the importance of working together by:
- Identifying the behaviours that make or break a team
- Using DISC profiling to understand the dynamics within team
- Understanding attitudes: between good and bad, helpful and unhelpful
- Taking a team further: developing functional and high performing teams
Workshop 2: Influencing Skills - Thursday 15th October
Workshop 3: Public Speaking and Presentation Skills - Thursday 26th November
The workshops have been organised by the Chambers' Business Women's Sector in conjunction with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
**Registration is from 9.00am with the workshop starting promptly at 9.30am.
Costs to attend:
Member fee: £60.00 (plus VAT) per person per workshop
Non-Member fee: £75.00 (plus VAT) per person per workshop
