Sporting stars repeatedly train, rest, recover and then perform. Business leaders perform, perform and perform. In many ways the challenges faced in business are tougher than those faced by athletes. If business people integrate some of the basic principles of sports training into their daily and weekly routines, they can unlock sustained high performance in the workplace and bypass corporate burn-out.
This master class will challenge your assumptions about the relationship between the time put into tasks and the output achieved. Do you find yourself coming into work ever earlier? Leaving later? Eating at your desk? Abandoning your hobbies? And still not achieving the workload you feel you need to get through? By learning the value of habitual recovery periods you will understand how to redesign your working day to better effect and increase your capacity to get things done.
Dee Wilkinson, Director of South West Coaching Ltd, will lead the session. Dee is a professional coach & supervisor who works across the private, not for profit and public sectors. Her passion and very real experience of managing energy effectively underpins the fundamentals of this approach.
Busy manager, executives and business owners who don't seem to have enough time to push ahead at the pace they would like or feel overstretched by the demands they tackle regardless of the hours they put in, will want to attend this session.
