Inspiring Success - International Women's Day

Join us for this event where we will celebrate International Women's day with a host of excellent speakers, who are all achievers in their own right.

Sarah Callender - MD, Director of Bdaily, Director, Compare Fitness World & Co-founder, Ground Six

Bdaily it is an online publisher of UK Regional business news. Bdaily provides the opportunity for businesses to put advice and content onto the internet – bespoke online advertising and content marketing is also supported.
Compare the Fitness World is the UK’s comparison website – launched in 2015
Ground Six is a business which supported technology ideas helping them to be
brought to the market place

Working in Nissan since 2000 starting in the Quality/Logostics area working through to a General Manager. Nicola is based in Sunderland but travels extensively throughout Europe.

A founding Director of GFW Lettings and property Management Business operating throughout Newcastle and Northumberland. Whilst also working operational as a member of the executive team and board for George F. White.

Angela Anderson

Angela Anderson - Managing Director, Zenith People & Rising Star

Angela is the founder of Zenith People, a recruitment business which has now been operating for 15 years based in South Tyneside but working with clients throughout the UK.
In 2013, Rising Star was formed which is working in collaboration with South Tyneside council, it is a youth recruitment and training business focusing on helping the young people in South Tyneside to find their first roles or return back to work.

Ami Davies, is the Managing Director and co-founder of iKnow Locate Limited t/a Brand Ami. Using breakthrough Bluetooth Low Energy technology Ami has developed, My Little Explorer, a wander alert for young children with an educational slant to create a tool kit for parents to teach their child to stay close without using treating or scary tactics. Ami has recently won the ‘If we can you can’ People’s Choice Award 2015 and also a secured a space at the Innovation Showcase at Venturefest 2015. Ami successfully raised seed and proof of concept funding to develop the product and is currently trailing a 2nd stage prototype. Ami is currently in the process of raising further funding to bring this product to market, with production planned for Summer 2016.

Louise Allcroft

Louise Allcroft - CEO and Founder, Complement Geonomics (dadcheck)

Over 15 years experience in molecular biology techniques including genotyping, gene expression and human identity testing including assay design, development and validation dadcheck is the paternity testing division of Complement Genomics Ltd. dadcheck is an award-winning paternity testing service based in the north east of England and is on the Ministry of Justice's list of approved bodies for parentage testing. Our client base is not only members of the general public but family law solicitors and local authorities.

Jayne Archbold

Jayne Archbold

Working at Sage for 18 years Jayne’s last role was CEO of Enterprise Market Europe. Born and bread in the North East Jayne now lives in Oxfordshire and despite her global roles spends as much time as possible in the North East.

Jayne took the brave decision to leave Sage & corporate life at the end of October 2015 & has been spending time travelling, generally doing things she never had the time to do and is working on a number of investment opportunities & finding her next new CEO role in the technology sector.

Passionate about inspring people to make a difference, growing businesses and individuals and leading challenging turnaround situations. Jayne loves a challenge
