Ann Francke NEW

Ann Francke CMgr CCMI FIC

Ann Francke, CEO of Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Author of: Financial Times Guide to Management: How to Make a Difference and Get Results.
Ann is a transformational leader with vision, pace and proven ability to deliver profitable revenue growth and build organisational capability in professional services, media, retail and consumer sectors. At CMI, she uses her experience in leading organisations to promote best practices in management and leadership, and improve management standards across the UK and beyond. Ann has been named in the top 100 women to watch in the 2015 Female FTSE report from Cranfield and is an expert on current challenges facing women in the workplace.
Ann is also Strategic Advisor to Tongal, a member of the CRUK Women of Influence Board; member of WACL and an Advisory Board member of Lancaster Management and the Open University Business Schools.
Prior to CMI Ann was Global General Manager at the British Standards Institution, held executive board positions at Boots and Yell and was European Vice President at Mars Ann began her career at P&G and managed a variety of international brands including Pampers, Always and Olay before rising to global general manager.

Ann holds a BA with Distinction from Stanford and an MBA/MS from Columbia and an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from UWE.

Ann and her husband live in West London; she has one daughter.

Annmarie Hanlon

Annmarie Hanlon is a trainer, consultant, adviser in digital marketing strategy and social media. Starting in 1999, when she worked in ‘internet marketing’, she has worked on digital marketing consultancy projects in sectors including legal and financial services, software and IT, communications, advertising, media, health and leisure.

Annmarie is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing at the University of Derby where she is also studying for a PhD in the strategic business use of social media networks. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Member of the Marketing Institute Ireland and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

Adam Gray

Adam Gray

Adam works with companies that want to make social media an integral part of their marketing and communications strategy, built-in rather than bolt-on. He helps his clients plan, implement and develop a social media presence that doesn’t just deliver retweets and comments, but delivers sales and visibility in the marketplace because, in business, the reason for investing your time and effort in social media is not just to make friends, but to make money.

Adam understands the social media world based on having worked in marketing for over 20 years from having socialised in social media for nearly a decade. His experience and track record as a social media consultant his track record in this area is why he was approached by Pearson to write their first business book about social media.

Sue Gilkes

Sue is a highly competent self-starter having developed a unique and much acclaimed process of delivery in the arena of Performance Management, Training and Consultancy for the IT Crowd.

Sue is the founder and Managing Director of Your Impact Ltd a company which focuses on the business skills required to be an IT Professional. Sue’s career started in IT before Microsoft products were mainstream so she has seen many changes and helped her customers with the challenges that change in IT bring.

Sue has authored weekly columns on Customer Service and Leadership for a leading newspaper and is a Certified Business Professional Instructor (CBPI) in Leadership, Customer Service and Sales.

Her talks range from passion for learning and development, especially through using technology, Online Reputation Management, through to the up-rooting of her family to live in Barbados, to being a grandmother at 41, fostering dogs and being a woman in business. She is a passionate and engaging speaker, she will have you laughing and possibly crying too but within that there will be that all important message.

With over 10 years experience, Lynsey and her team specialise in providing social media, digital marketing training and consultancy to all sizes of businesses including household names such as Emirates, O2,
The United Nations and Barclays. Lynsey is regularly called upon for industry insights and comment by the mediaincluding CNBC, The Guardian, BBC News & Bloomberg. Lynsey also works alongside other key influencers as part of the social media council at the DMA where she is Vice
Chair.

Perry Timms

Perry Timms

Described by CIPD CEO Peter Cheese as “ The HR Futurist” Perry’s energy, passion and insight around people development and the world of work are his trademarks.A Chartered CIPD Member ; facilitator & coach, Perry hasled technology‐driven business change for over 20 years as a corporate Head of Learning, Talent & OD.
Perry runs his own enterprise ‐ PTHR ‐ alongside that of being Director ‐ People & Learning at fast‐growing creative digital agency Media Zoo. Perry is aiming to transform learning & work through use of social technologies; innovation as usual; more soulful leadership; and being an always‐on learner for a range of clients in all sectors.
Perry is an international and TEDx speaker on HR and the future of work , authored thee‐book “HR 2025” and writes for a range of online HR and Work publications and journals
and at the end of 2015 was asked to join IBM’s Future of Work programme. Perry is a social HR Practitioner; voted a top 10 blogger in International and UK magazines.
Perry is Adviser to the CIPD on Social Media & Engagement, built the Institute’s first MOOC “Working Digitally: Social Media and HR” and was a Guide for the CIPD/MiX HR Hackathon .
Perry was executive consultant to 2015 HRD of the Year Karen Beaven (River Island), Vice Chair of his local (Northamptonshire) CIPD Branch, a Fellow of the RSA and a Visiting Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University. Perry also leads a community of practitioners/virtual organisation ‐ the iPractice ‐ with over 117 networked professionals from the US, Europe and Australasia.
