This seminar is perfect for those managers for whom finance is not a day to day part of their responsibility or those who are new managers with responsibility for controlling a budget.
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Recognise and describe some of the common jargon that is used
- Understand what makes up the profit and loss
- Understand what is a balance sheet
- State why cash is not profit
- Improve your confidence when presenting your results
About the Speaker: Kathryn Deakin
Kathryn has 20 years experience in finance and business and qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant in 2005. She has been a regional finance manager for a facilities management business with £85 million turnover and has led workshops and seminars to a wide range of business leaders and managers. She has also been an Operations Director and so has a keen understanding of working with and leading managers for whom finance is not their main role.
