Join CMI’s president-elect, Bruce Carnegie-Brown, as he conducts this masterclass and Q&A focusing on the need for ethical management and managing larger firms in difficult times.
The event will begin with a brief introduction of Kent Business Society and will be followed by an introduction from CMI.
After this April McMahon, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of eduction, will conduct the interview/ Q&A with Bruce Carnegie-Brown.
Refreshments and networking will be available after the event.
Registration will take place from 4.00pm with the main event starting at 4.30pm.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown is President-elect of the Chartered Management Institute. He is Chairman of Moneysupermarket.com Group plc; Vice Chairman and Lead Independent Director of Banco Santander SA, a Non-executive Director of Santander UK plc and Non-executive Director of JLT Group plc. Bruce was previously Chairman of Aon UK Ltd from 2012 to 2015; Senior Independent Director of Catlin Group plc from 2010 to 2014; and a Non-executive Director of Close Brothers Group plc from 2006 to 2014 (and Senior Independent Director from 2008 to 2014).
Prior to assuming a range of non-executive roles, Bruce worked for 25 years in a variety of roles in the financial services industry: he was Managing Partner of 3i Group plc’s Quoted Private Equity business, CEO of Marsh McLennan’s UK and European businesses; and a Managing Director of JP Morgan.
Bruce is a Trustee of Historic Royal Palaces and a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, a Past President of the Institute of Bankers; and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
