Please join us for our free monthly peer learning, networking and discussion event. The theme for January is Taking Risks and will be facilitated by Adrian Gregory.
Taking risks are an everyday part of working – everything is changing. Whether as individuals or as a company, if you need to take a risk or a sequence of risks – some kind of structure should be in place to aid you through the process. Risk taking can be very personal hence there is no really clear ‘text’ book approach. A simplified ‘Risk’ model will be presented which is general enough to help as a guide.
During this session we will explore why we do need to take risks, how to assess risk and how to hopefully manage the odds better in our favour. The group discussion will help to capture how we could improve on specific types of risks and there future consequences.
Adrian is a Principal Upstream Consultant at MORE Oil & Gas Plc.
Registration will commence at 18:15 and the discussion will start at 18:30.
There will be a mid-way break for networking and the event will close at 20:30.
The Chartered Management Institute London Peer Learning Group is a friendly place where anyone working or studying in Central London in management and leadership is welcome to join.
