This session is designed as an introduction to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) for managers, leaders, directors & business owners who want to help their teams get even better results
Surveys tell us that most people leave their boss (not their company) – the way a manager interacts, talks to, praises, rewards, listens to, describes, treats people, delivers on promises, shows they care about the things that are important to others and what they do or say to inspire individuals will have a direct impact on engagement amongst their teams.
NLP is a set of techniques and a way of thinking that helps communicate more effectively, build rapport and better relate to others in a way that works for them. Behaviour, language and emotions are unconscious processes (most of the time), so a better understanding of how this works and how we can adapt and make changes to ourselves, can be the key to becoming more effective leaders.

During this session you'll learn:
What NLP is (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and how can it help you and your business
How to consciously build rapport and therefore make being a leader easier (you’ll learn how to build rapport with anyone, even people you don’t like!)
How to identify our employees/clients 'preferred' language and use this to tailor our conversation in a way that better works for the listener
Understand how our values determine what people focus on, spend time on and how they motivate us. Learn how to use a knowledge of values to motivate and inspire those around us.
How to tailor our interactions so our communications land more effectively (e.g. big picture vs. detail, whether they favour sameness or difference etc)
To spot individuals preferences and utilise them to influence more elegantly (e.g. do they have a tendency to ‘towards' what they want or 'away from what they don’t want; are they are literal or inferential speaker or listener)
The workshop will be fun, interactive, and full of practical takeaways that you can put into practice in your business straight away. You don’t need any prior knowledge of NLP or communication skills, simply come with an attitude of curiosity and a willingness to learn!
