Please join us for our free monthly peer learning, networking and discussion event. In an update to this month’s topic, the discussion will now be ‘Engagement Enablers’, facilitated by Megan Butler.
There are many models and understandings of what employee engagement is and how to develop it within an organisation. What is agreed upon is that engagement is important and has a direct impact on finical outcomes. With globalisation and growing competition, having a competitive advantage is about survivability and engagement has been proven to have a direct and inimitable impact on creating a competitive advantage. Did you know that the UK has some of the lowest productivity and engagement levels the G7 and industrial nations?
Engage for Success is a voluntary movement that is promoting employee engagement in the UK to help reverse this trend. Their model suggests that there are four enablers of engagement in an organisation.
- Strategic Narrative
- Engaging Managers
- Employee Voice
- Integrity & Values
As managers, we are torn between pressures to be decisive managers and to be engaging, supportive managers. This discussion will highlight the importance of the four enablers in creating an engaged organisation with a focus on factors that impact being an engaging manager.
Registration will commence at 18:15 and the discussion will start at 18:30. There will be a mid-way break for networking and the event will close at 20:30.
Our topic for discussion will be Engagement Enablers - London Peer Learning Group.
