The CMI research “The Middle Manager lifeline” has highlighted the centrality of trust and how vital it is in managing teams. It has also identified the ‘5 ways to bridge the trust gap’ - guidelines that are of great importance to businesses.

At this event our speaker Justin Collinge, will take the cultural thinking shared in the CMI research and apply it to any one-on-one relationships where trust is low, and then illuminate actions that will build trust in that specific relationship. It’s a granular tool that supports repairing a low-trust relationship and perfectly matches the actions suggested in the report.

By attending the event, you will gain insight into exactly what you can do to build, or rebuild, trust. As a part of this we will also learn a technique taken from FBI hostage negotiators to easily & quickly manage negative emotions. So, next time you’re faced with a frustrated team member or an angry stakeholder wouldn’t you like to know how to calm the emotion and be able to move the conversation to more useful areas?

The evening will be highly practical and interactive. Throughout the session you will have plenty of opportunity to explore how to apply the new ideas and principles to personal and professional environment.
