Is this the end for Cook?

Surely the Man City chief exec has made one gaff too many now?

For those unaware, an email was sent to the mother of one of the City players by mistake, in which her cancer was joked about.  The email appeared to have been sent by the City boss, although he denies this.

News just in that he's resigned, so yes, it would appear it was the end for him.

Certainly very silly on his behalf if he did say such things.  I wrote the other day about having toys in the boardroom promoting ethical behaviour due to the connections they create with the innocence of childhood.  This is a prime example of something that I suspect he wouldn't want his loved ones finding out.  I find that's a pretty good barometer for how to behave.

Not been a good month for City really, with this and Tevez throwing his toys out of the pram last night as well.  I can't say I'd be too upset if their house of cards came crashing down I must say.
