What events do you want in the Greater Manchester Region?

Hi,

 

The Branch Management Team are about to draw up the 2011 event planner? We are keen to hold events that add real value to Members in the area. As such please can you blog below events that you would like to see. So far we have received:

 

CV Writing workshop

KPI's - What should I be setting?

Team Engagement - Does it work and what needs to be in place?

 

If you have ideas please submit them, the branch is keen to select Key Speakers to topics you want to know more about so let us know!

CMI Greater Manchester has seen successful events this Autumn:-

  • 15/11/2010 - Being successful at recruitment assessment centres

 

The CMI Greater Manchester Branch Team is now looking for ideas for events in the New Year.

One possibility could be a CMI Ambassadors' Training Evening in Greater Manchester, an opportunity for CMI Ambassadors to talk through their ideas for programme events. This would lead to tailored training for CMI Ambassadors to support them to deliver great events in the future. Support on offer could include:-

  • public speaking
  • presentation skills
  • marketing skills
  • IT skills
  • networking skills
  • CMI policies, products, procedures

 

You might ask, “What’s in it for Ambassadors?” This is an opportunity for Ambassadors to gain CPD through developing - a new skill, a new opportunity - rather than by just attending.

You might ask, “What does Greater Manchester hope to achieve?” The Branch would like to draw on the rich range of knowledge and experience that we know exists amongst Ambassadors to schedule a ‘CPD rich programme of events’ offering ‘value for membership’ to its members.
