Hello

My name is Lorna Barlow.

I have been a manager for 15 years with a successful track record in 3PL and Contract management.

Prompted by redundancy I chose to study to enhance my employability and aid a possible career change into HR.

Nearing completion of CIPD  Certificate in Human Resource Practice I have recently undertaken a Post Graduate in Management Studies course at the University of Northampton.

My reasons for joining this professional organisation is to discuus relevant topics with industry specialists, increase my own capability both academically and professionally and, perhaps, gain knowledge of suitable vacancies or career development opportunities (good old work experience).
