Good morning all,
I'm looking forward to participating in the CMI community, just dipping my toe at the moment but within time I'm sure I'll fit in well
Best wishes
David
Hi David, welcome aboard.
Hiya David. What line of work are you in?
Morning David - nice to see you - wecome!
Thanks for the welcome, I'm in Historic Restoration and at the moment I'm rebuilding a Castle near Nuneaton in Warwickshire, follow the links below for more details

Sounds good fun David!
I was heavily involved in the inspection and repair of many of Ireland's Principal Road Bridges between 2001-2005 - generally masonry arches, and worked closely with the National Roads Authority to develop a Draft Specification for Repair of Masonry Arch Bridges. This entailed trialling numerous lime mortar mixes and testing them to try and obtain a consistent strength and flexibility.
Needless to say; far easier said than done! No doubt you have some experience in the field too?
I've recently been involved with the inspection for assessment of an historic railway bridge in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (Vauxhall Railway Bridge) for which we have just successfully been awarded significant funding. How is the historic buildings sector at present David?
Sounds interesting David. Look forward to seeing you around the community :)
