I've just finished an Open University management course which (along with a few years experience) qualified me to join the CMI . I'm looking forward to continuing my studies and hopefully working towards chartered status eventually. Tim

I did a similar thing a few years back - now working toward CMgr; about to submit later this week. There's some good discussions going on around here so keep tuned in and I'm sure it will help you.

Where are you based? I assume you've joined your local Branch?

I found the course very helpful, it covered the basics of all the functional areas but it was really focussed on developing a reflective approach to management.

I'm currently continuing my studies with a course on strategy, but I'm curious about most areas. I've signed up to my local branches in Kent and in the city and look forward to learning from the various discussions.
