About the Kent Branch
Welcome to all members who are either new to the Chartered Management Institute or the Kent Branch.
Our Branch Objectives
It is the aim of the Kent branch to supplement the wide range of services that are provided centrally via the Conventions or on the Internet e.g. Checklists, self reflection, videos and books by offering a more localised programme. This not only provides the opportunity to explore topics on leadership and development but to network with other managers and discuss like minded concerns or issues.
The Kent branch now covers most of the county except in the edges around the M25 along the Kent/London border. All members are allowed to attend any of the events if they are interested in the topic being discussed and all of them will be advertised on the CMI Internet.
The management team is made up entirely of volunteers and we have split the county into five areas so that we can run events over the year in various localities. Each area is going to run at least one event over the next year so if you have any ideas on topics or speakers that you think might be pertinent please do not hesitate in contacting us. The areas are:
· Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge
Keeping in Touch
What we deliver and when is partly driven by the needs of the members so please feel free to provide any feedback on any issues or concerns. Our details are on the Kent Branch section of the CMI Internet.
