Hi Everybody
My name is Steve and i am currently undertaking a level 7 CMI as part of my course i have to submit a piece of work on Partnership working in my local town Blackburn with Darwen a critical evaluation of it. Having never done a Critical Evaluation before i am a little bit lost any advice will be gratefuly recieved.
Hi Steve, I guess the first thing to ask is what were the aims of the partnership, and critique them.
So i am just trying to dig to deep really and should look at the simple points really,i like your way of thinking.
Cheers
Steve, from my experience all partnerships have a list of common aims sometimes presented as their mission statement but often just common goals on a sheet of A4/A3 paper with signatures of the parties to the partnership.
As Mike suggests, a review/critique of these and whether the partnership is actually achieving/delivering on those goals is a pretty good place to start.
Hi Steve, I agre it is a good place to start with what they have in common but important to understand if they have identified their differences and if these will be in conflict with partnership working. Unless the differences are out on the table to start I think partnerships have a big struggle to acheive the objectives. I am not certain this is done at the beginning of the development of the partnership.
This is way out of my league but i will hang in there thanks for the advice i have a funny feeling i will be picking your brains again
Cheers all
Hi Steve, are you analysing an existing partnership or proposing one for this study?
Hi Wayne it is existing partnerships that i have to use
