When were you last inspired?

Hi, 

I attended an event at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool last night. It was the 'Red Rose Business Awards' This event attracted over 800 people at £700 a table (I have been told) this was no mean feat. The event location had to be changed to accomodate demand. 

What inspired me was the sense of optimism. The newly refurbished Winter Gardens with Bisto's, Art Deco Cafes and wonderful newly uncovered victorian splendour is a credit to the work the local council has done and a really positive Public - Private partnership. 

The event celebrating all that is good with Lancashire Business was a great success - the food provided by a local business Heathcotes (I think) was fantastic, they are opening a new Bistro in the Winter Gardens soon. The winners worthy and the atmosphere wonderful. 

This inspired me to want to go out and make a difference, to find ways to do more with less, to get more involved, to be positive.  What has inspired you recently?
