Since it opended Liverpool's arena and convention centre has attracted major international and national events (inculding: MTV awards; Liberal Democrat and Labour Party Conferences and next month it will host the Federation for Small Businesses National Conference).
At a joint event with CMI on Thursday, Michelle Kemp (the venue's Head of Marketing) will talk about the journey the arena has been on and how both traditional and new marketing channels have played their part. She will enlighten you with their route to achieving outstanding business success.
What impact do you think a venue such as the arena can have on the regeneration of an area or in developing a local ecomony?
Sounds like an interesting event Martin. I've just been having a look over the Arena's website, do they have a resident sporting team (basketball or something like that)?
Hi Adi,
We have tow basket ball teams in the area Everton tigers and Mersey tigers. I am not sure how regularly they play at the arena; however there are events happening most days of the week. we have even put a big in to bring our national conference to Liverpool.
