Liverpool takeover

What does everyone think of the proposed takeover of Liverpool FC? Seems the owners don't want it, yet the board do. Do you think it'll happen?
I'm an Everton fan so it's kinda hard not to snigger at the events at Liverpool at the moment, although a (very) small part of me does feel sorry for their fans, as the owners are making a right pigs ear of things.
Haha, you must be loving this then? It wouldn't surprise me if the sale didn't go ahead, I mean the owners get nothing from the deal. The interesting thing for me is whether the Premier League would follow through with a points penalty if the club is dragged into administration. They did it with Portsmouth but doing it to Liverpool would be a different kettle of fish as it would make relegation a real threat for them.
Looks like they'll avoid administration after the High Court ruled in favour of the board this morning.

Doesn't seem like you'll get your way Adi. Hicks and Gillette have agreed to let a sale happen.
