Is time with the CEO good for young managers?

Do you think it is good for students to spend a day’s training under CEOs?

In every day life we need positive role models, albeit our parents or someone we look up to in order to guide us through tough terrains.

In the business world, any time I have spent with a CEO has been invaluable and inspired me to reach greater heights. Not to simply increase my outputs but to be brave and broaden my horizons by embracing change and take on new challenges, which should provide you with the self belief and confidence to ensure you never miss out on an opportunity in life.

p.s. what is young? I'm 39 and still seek opportunities to gleam knowledge from CEO's

For me a big part of the CEOs job should be to mentor and inspire those under their charge.  A company should be awash with good role models that provide mentoring and coaching for staff.

So yes, the CEO should do this, but then all managers at whatever level should do so also.
