Generation Y are changing the workforce like no generation before them. This topic will be discussed at length at the Northampton branch event on Thursday.
How can you build an organisation fit for Generation Y?
The biggest thing is that generations encamp themselves and focus more on the differences than the similarities between them. To be fair this is the same when looking at any minority groups (or people that are different to us), but it really hinders progress on this.
There's a super initiative here between Harvard Business Review, McKinsey and Management xChange to look into the links between social media and management. Kinda underpins what I was trying to say in my presentation.

Do you have an instructive case study (a Story) or an experimental design (a Hack) that demonstrates how Web 2.0 values (including transparency, collaboration, meritocracy, openness, community and self-determination) can be unleashed to overcome the design limits of Management 1.0—and help to create Management 2.0?
