About our key note speaker:

Bev Stewart is currently Director of Student Recruitment and Financial Support at The Open University having taken up her appointment in November 2007. Prior to this she spent nearly 20 years in the commercial sector having worked in advertising, retail, telecoms and utilities. During this time she has worked for some of the largest corporations in the UK and Europe including British Gas (Centrica), OneTel, Orange, BT, Vivendi, Nortel Networks, Alcatel and France Telecom.

She openly describes her career as being a colourful one, having dodged a few bullets (literally and metaphorically) in her time as she forged her career in sometimes hostile environments. She is very much looking forward to sharing her experiences of corporate life, the glass ceiling and making your own luck as you carve out your career path.

We look forward to welcoming you.
