Our 'Future Forecast' survey reveals that these are just some of the factors concerning managers as we go into 2011.
Almost half of UK managers (48%) are expecting further redundancies in 2011, and 43% do not believe their organisation has the right people to fulfil its 2011 objectives, according to our latest research, The Year Ahead: Expectation for 2011.
The survey reveals that just 12% feel very secure in their jobs, with 86% expecting redundancies in 2011 and almost half (45%) arguing that poor morale is one of the biggest barriers to organisation’s achieving their objectives. The survey goes on to reveal particular problems for public sector managers, with 51% blaming poor leadership and only 39% feeling secure in their jobs.
