We are delighted to welcome our new Southern Board Chair Suzanne Anderson CMgr CCMI. In her first week in the role, she talked with a government minister about the importance and benefits of the Chartered Manager programme. More on this and a feature on Suzanne in our November newsletter.
We thank David Sullivan for his work as Acting Chair and for leading the Board for the last 22 months. We are very pleased that David will be taking on the brief of supporting our Institute of Consultancy members and the Future Leaders programme, in addition to his ongoing roles on the Board’s Strategic Management Group.
Long standing Board member Linda Juleff is moving from her post in HE in the region to the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. She has served for more than 15 years as a volunteer for CMI, on Women in Management committees and previously the CMI Scotland region. She was appointed to the CMI Southern Board four years ago, prior to that was part of the CMI Solent branch and helped to organise the national Eleanor MacDonald Lecture. She will continue to write for the CMI Southern blog and be bringing you a series of useful articles on research skills in management.
