DEVELOP MORE THAN JUST TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FROM YOUR DEGREE.
An Officer Cadet is a unique opportunity for any student. Offered only at selected universities, it guides cadets through Management and Leadership modules, through which they learn and develop the practical and personal skills that enhance and complement the technical skills and knowledge gained as part of their university degree.
You can opt to join the Army after completing the programme, but there’s no obligation - you’ll still take away the skills and knowledge that can be transferred to any role in employment.
WHY BECOME AN OFFICER CADET?
Develop yourself as a leader by taking part in military exercises, adventurous training, sport, community projects and expeditions both in the UK and overseas.
Show employers that you have the discipline to self-develop outside of academic study.
Earn a CMI Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership, where you can go on to become a Chartered Manager.
Gain access to invaluable tools and resources to support you throughout the programme.
Belong to an independent regiment with its own cap badge, stable belt and traditions.
HOW DO I OBTAIN MY QUALIFICATION?
By successfully completing Modules A and B of your training you will be eligible for a CMI level 5 Award in Management and Leadership. You can top this up to the CMI level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership by further completing a Personal Development Plan.
