Abby's research focuses on the causes of heterogeneous organisational performance and how performance can be improved.
Specifically he is interested in: strategic cognition, planning and implementation, business and functional strategies interface, resource orchestration, organisational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate responsibility.
Abby has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles in major journals, 7 research monographs, 2 edited books, and a text book drawing heavily on research entitled Strategic Management: The Challenge of Creating Value. Abby is also a regular contributor to popular press such as FT.
