Dame Mary Marsh
Dame Mary is the Founding Director of the Clore Social Leadership Programme which identifies, connects and develops aspiring leaders in the social sector (charities, community organisations, social enterprises).
Previously she was chief executive of NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) for eight years from 2000 to 2008 and headteacher of two comprehensive schools in the 1990’s, latterly at Holland Park School in central London.
She is a non-executive director of HSBC Bank plc and a member of the Governing Body at London Business School, where she completed her MBA in 1989. She was appointed non-executive Chair of INSSO (UK) Ltd in January 2014 which works in international skills standards and workforce development.
She is Chair of the State and Philanthropy Honours Committees and a member of the Main Honours Committee. She joined the Advisory Council of the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra in 2011. She was appointed as a member of the CMI Board of Companions in December 2013 and she chairs the Charityworks Professional Advisory Body.
