David Kieghe

David is a medical graduate with specialised training, and has diverse work experience in clinical medicine, public health, health services management & financing, financial services and in higher education in the UK and overseas. He holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool Business School, and has trained in various sub-specialties in management, business and development in the UK and overseas.

He is a member of various professional bodies including the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Healthcare Management, and the Energy Institute. David belongs and contributes to various elite team and peer group multidisciplinary discussion forums, with members from around the world engaged in critical analysis and examination of economic, social, environmental and political issues of local, national and global developmental concerns, proffering options and solutions.

He is currently a senior consulting partner at Neo-Telligence, a UK Research for Development not-for-profit think tank. He provides advisory support to a number of small to medium size organisations. He recently served in advisory capacity to the Minister of Health, Nigeria, providing Technical Assistance in Health Systems Strengthening. He is interested in how to unlock private investment into healthcare in Nigeria to reposition the health sector as a key economic enabler. He facilitates the delivery of training, capacity building and consultancy services in Healthcare, Management and Entrepreneurship to the private, social and government/public sector.

David loves to read and comment on socio-political, economic and environmental issues that border on human development. He has a keen interest in research that can shape the right policy formulation, implementation and direction, and is a strong believer in continuous improvement. Some of his skills and areas of expertise include: strategic and integrative thinking, change management, performance management, talent management, services management, organisational restructuring and repositioning, product & services differentiation, environmental analysis, social policy audits, and governance and leadership.
