Dr Dimitrzos N Koufopoulos MCMI FIC
Dimitrios is a Senior Lecturer at University of Brunel, Brunel Business School, London, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, Member of the Chartered Management Institute (joined in 1989), Academic Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute and Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
He has taught as visiting Lecturer in both British and American institutions and currently teaches at the Hellenic Open University.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the academic journal Corporate Board: role, duties & composition, of the World Journal of Business and Management, of the International Journal of Corporate Governance Research , of the International Journal of Civil Aviation, and of the Enterprise Risk Management Journal.
He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gnosis Management Consultants since 1988, and an external, independent Board member of the PROGNOSIS SA Market Research, Public Opinion and Behavioural Social Studies as well as a Company Secretary of EU-MAP Consulting – a specialised Public Affairs and lobbying consultancy company. He has served on the Corporate Affairs Committee at the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) from to Sept 2004 to September 2008.
He is a Scientific Advisor at International Management Studies, and since January 2007, based on a Memorandum for joined research between Brunel Business School and the Federation of Greek Industries and Enterprises, is the Research-Co-ordinator of the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (Greek site).
