Jackie Wyke FCMI
Jackie is Strategic Director at WELL Associates, a training company that is a greater than profit organisation. She joined the company with over 15 years experience of educational management, specialising in leadership & management, and coaching & mentoring development programmes, together with extensive experience in vocational education across foundation learning, apprenticeships and foundation degree programmes.
Jackie recently led a national mentor training programme for the Department for Work and Pensions targeting unemployed 18-24 year olds under the Backing Young Britain initiative, described by the commissioning client as the "Rolls Royce of mentor training".
Quality is something that Jackie feels passionate about and she has in-depth experience of delivering national quality improvements across a range of educational organisations. This has included working as a regional 'change agent' for the LSIS National Teaching and Learning programme; Advanced Learning Coaches programme; and the Manager's Engagement programme, delivering a whole-organisational approach to improving the quality of teaching and learning. She has also worked for a range of independent training organisations to improve their overall quality of delivery to meet the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework and she succeeded in moving organisations from Grade 4 - Grade 2 within a year. She has also worked as an external verifier for a leading awarding body supporting 44 centres to successfully comply with national legislative guidelines for the quality of delivery for accredited awards (from levels 2-7).
Jackie has also authored a number of national learning and development resource materials, including creation of national training packages to launch the new A1/A2/V1 Learning and Development Awards and more recently, resources developed specifically for online use for the DWP Backing Young Britain programme.
She has several post-graduate qualifications in education (leadership & management) and management, and is currently completing a MSc in Human Resource Development and Organisational Change to add to her bank of knowledge and expertise. She would describe herself as a dedicated lifelong learner always willing to learn about new ideas and initiatives and investigate how they can improve both individual and organisational performance.
