Associate Director (Energy), Atkins
Jo is an Associate Director of Atkins, currently working in their Energy business overseeing resourcing and internal collaboration with the wider business.
Jo has worked for Atkins for 20 years, joining as a graduate following a Masters degree in Engineering from Cambridge University.
She has wide-ranging experience in both the Transportation and Energy sectors. With a technical background in bridge engineering, she has subsequently taken project management responsibility on several high profile multi-disciplinary projects including the design of the M25 Widening and delivery of the London 2012 engineering design services to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games.
More recently she has taken business management roles, leading the multi-discipline Oil & Gas design & consultancy business in Epsom and as Key Account Manager for a complex global client.
Jo is a Chartered Civil Engineer and is recognised in industry as a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. She is a Companion of the CMI, an experienced coach and mentor, and was listed in the Timewise 2014 Power Part Time Awards.
