Karen Mannering MA, FCIPD,CMI
Karen Mannering is the Director of K M Portfolios Ltd, a development consultancy that provides a range of services including OD consultancy, training (design and delivery), coaching, writing and psychometrics in both the public and private sector.
Karen has over 20 years in people development working with large organisations, universities and colleges. She has a large presence within the Social Care Sector and also works as an associate of the National Skills Academy for Social Care and has also both worked in, and for, the Police, the NHS, and Education.
Karen has a master’s degree in management, and a degree in Psychology.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of The British Psychological Association and a Member of the Society of Female Writers and Journalists.
A registered psychometric practitioner with The British Psychological Association, Karen uses a number of psychometric instruments to enrich individual development, selection practices, and provide meaningful feedback. She is also a registered practitioner of Myers Briggs (MBTI) and BarOn Emotional Intelligence Quotient, which she incorporates into her developmental work.
Karen’s delivery style is to bring together her knowledge of business practices and theories together with modern psychology to ensure that individuals and groups are able to work together more effectively to achieve their goals. Her programmes are lively, thought provoking, and steeped in experience and theory.
A speaker at a number of conferences, Karen also writes for magazines, journals and websites. She has been quoted several times in The Times and The Guardian. She has also written and published 14 books.
