Mike Rumble CMgr FCMI
Mike served with Sussex Police for over thirty years, latterly specialising in Victim Protection Issues including combating Hate Crime and Domestic Violence. After moving to West Sussex County Council, he set up Community Safety Units in both Worthing Borough and Horsham District.
As Community Safety Manager for Horsham District he introduced two rural Neighbourhood Warden schemes and a community ‘handy-van’ which brought home help, crime and fire prevention advice to over 4,000 elderly and vulnerable clients during its five years of operation.
Moving to The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea he now manages the Borough’s Parks Police Service which polices almost ninety parks, cemeteries and open spaces in K&C and Hammersmith and Fulham. His role also involves providing back up services for the Notting Hill Carnival and the Major Incident Strategy.
