Nicola Andrews MCMI
Nicola has over 13 years of work experience within the finance sector, working both in the UK and overseas. She is currently a Finance & Business Lecturer and her previous appointments have included Finance Assistant, Guild of Students Management Accountant and Finance Cashier.
The move into teaching in the Higher Education sector was as a result of Nicola wanting to use her industry experience to enhance student development and help them gain the knowledge they require to become competitive in the professional world.
Her motivation to become a regional board member stemmed from the fact that she wanted to support the CMI agenda in ensuring that all organisations are effectively managed and has a keen interest in developing and supporting the Future Leaders of the region.
Nicola completed her BA(Hons) degree in Business Enterprise, achieving a 1st class classification. She also completed her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification and is constantly looking to undertake further qualifications and achievements to enhance her professional development. She is currently studying French as a second language.
