Phillip Mukhwana CMgr FCMI Chartered MCIPD
Phillip Mukhwana is a learning and development professional with over 27 years experience developing and delivering solutions in the fields of academic and occupational learning, leadership and management and information technology.
He started his career as a teacher of physics at undergraduate level before joining the field of ICT and later taking charge of the IT function at Towry Law International covering the ME & Africa region, which was part of a large multinational company spanning 9 countries. During his IT career he developed IT systems to enhance productivity in organisations and developed his own software which was deployed in several organisations, including a number where it is still in use today.
In the early 2000s he moved into the field of human resource development and, after completing a number of related professional courses, worked for several years as a performance management consultant assisting various organisations in the region to implement business process reengineering projects and staff development programmes including on-job learning and coaching, as well as providing solutions for business management information systems.
His expertise lies in the areas of systems development, human capital development and work based learning and he is an accredited facilitator with the Facet 5 psychometric tools used in professional development programmes, including leadership and management development.
Phillip is a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of CMI and is the CMI programmes director at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the only CMI centre in the kingdom of Bahrain, offering levels 3, 5, and 7 programmes. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is actively involved in supporting CIPD programmes at the BIBF.
