Ronnie Lawson MCMI
A hands on academic with a number of business qualities. Throughout his working life he has been a great believer in working with and through colleagues in order to achieve results. With over 38 years experience within local government and education. Currently Ronnie is covering a number of Business subjects in addition to housing until January 2015.
Ronnie is approachable and very much a team orientated person.
Ronnie's present work involves him in the development and teaching of all subjects relating to the new QCF Level 4 Diploma in Housing Practice, which includes the preparation of instruments of assessment . Attendance at meetings, with the corporate body, the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), Asset Skills and the Consortium of Scottish Colleges. Taking a lead role in external verification process, in relation to the delivery mode as directed by the Head of Business.
Prior to this Ronnie spent over thirty years, within the field of local government, eighteen of which were spent within a number of managerial roles.
His hobbies are reading, spending time with his family, mentoring and watching sports. His specialist areas include management, managing people professional practice skills and research.
