Dr Rosalind Bergemann FIC
Rosalind is the Institute of Consulting Champion on the board. This role supports IC in the region, keeping the board informed of the IC strategies as advised by the Institute of Consulting Advisory Committee.

Rosalind has over 25 years’ experience as a senior business executive, more than half of which has been within the healthcare & social services sector. She holds a number of Non-Executive roles within both start-up and established organisations, including Chairing the Boards of Silicon Networks, an organisation providing social networking support for people with disabilities, and Asperger Leaders, a membership body for people with Asperger Syndrome and higher functioning autism in the workplace, and Chairing the Audit Committee for Dimensions, the UK’s largest provider of support for people with disabilities.
Rosalind has been recognised by a number of professional bodies for her work in developing and supporting organisations and the individuals they support. She was nominated consultant of the year at the National Managerial and Leadership Awards in 2013, as well as runner-up Outstanding Leader of the Year, and was also nominated Mentor of the Year by the Chartered Management Institute in 2015 in recognition of her executive coaching and leadership support roles on the Boards she works with, as well as receiving a special commendation in respect of her Specialist Networks. Rosalind was made a life-time member of the International Who’s Who in 2012 in recognition of her achievements in the business world.
Prior to her Non-Executive career, Rosalind initially started her career within finance, holding a number of Finance Director positions before being offered a role as Director of Operations within the Rand Mutual Hospital and subsequently as General Manager for the Park Lane Clinic and Managing Director for the Edenvale Clinic.
Since the mid 1990’s, Rosalind has held a number of consultancy positions advising organisations across a number of sectors, with a specialist focus on organisational transformation and change. She was Executive Consultant with Health Care Services Management, a consultancy providing specialist consultancy services to the private and public healthcare sector, Divisional Managing Director for NMG Consultants and Actuaries, and she was then appointed Chief Executive Officer of Globalite Management Services – a specialist organisational transformation consultancy – in 2002.
Rosalind has always been a keen academic alongside her work, and she holds a number of professional qualifications in psychology, finance, finance for the NHS (England), finance for the NHS (Wales), project management, leadership and six sigma. She has an honours degree in social studies, a Bachelor of Finance, together with an MBA and DBA. She still continues her studies, and is currently in the process of working towards an additional Masters in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care as a first step to a PhD researching Living with Disability and Long Term Conditions.
