Delivering Diversity is a collaboration between CMI and the British Academy of Management, working closely with business leaders and diversity and inclusion specialists, to deliver research with a real focus on ‘what works’.

Pavita Cooper

Pavita Cooper – Chair of the Research Advisory Board

Pavita has been global director for talent at both Barclays and Lloyds banks. She’s a member of the 30% Club’s Steering Committee and the founder of More Difference, a boutique executive search and talent advisory firm. The Research Advisory Board brings together experienced leaders from firms in the FTSE100 and outside, ensuring we combine the best of academic expertise with real-world business experience.

Petra Wilton

Prof Nic Beech

The academic lead on the research, Nic Beech is Chair of the British Academy of Management and is the Vice-Principal and Head of College of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Dundee. Nic’s research is on change management, the construction of identity and managerial practice, and he leads an expert team on this work with members drawn from institutions across the UK.

Petra Wilton

As CMI’s Director of Strategy, Petra works closely with businesses across all sectors, leading CMI’s research programme including its diversity strand. This includes the recently launched CMI Women campaign. Petra also leads for CMI on developing the new range of degree-level management and leadership Apprenticeships.
